Lesson Program
The TCJGA Junior Golf Lesson Program will hold 15 lesson sessions during the 2009 season for boys and girls age 7 and above. Sessions will be held at Bay Meadows Golf Course , Grand Traverse Resort/McLean School, High Pointe Golf Club, Traverse City Golf Center and the Leelanau Club at Bahle Farms.
The lesson program will consist of a series of four 1-1/4 hour group lessons or two 2 hour sessions for the Advanced lesson sessions which will teach the basics of the golf swing, rules of the game, golf course etiquette and some on-course instruction with the Experienced and Advanced Sessions. Beginner golfers do not have to own clubs to be in this program.

Beginner
classes are for juniors who have never had a lesson program in the past or who may want to repeat a previous beginner lesson.

Experienced Experienced classes are for juniors who have had a previous lesson session within the
TCJGA or have completed another qualified lesson program outside the TCJGA.

Advanced
classes are for golfers who have played in the TCJGA tournament program, other tournaments
or had Experienced lessons with TCJGA and are ready for on-course play on their own.
Spring
Sessions are for any Beginner, Experienced or Advanced or golfers. Sessions will meet from 4:15 to 5:30 pm or 5:45 to 7:00 pm or for Advanced from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.

Cost for the lessons are $39.00 per person/per session and $36.00 for any
additional session. An annual membership fee of $18.00 for lessons only or $36.00 for
lessons and tournaments is also required.
Instruction will be provided by P.G.A. Professionals and TCJGA Staff: Jeff Dean and Bob Lober at Bay Meadows Golf Course; Scott Hebert and Jason Jenkins at the Grand Traverse Resort / McLean School and Matt Morrison at the Leelanau Club at Bahle Farms (if scheduled).
